The Purpose
For over a century, Muslims have lived by stories that were never ours.
Our lands were colonised, our identities fragmented, and our faith was reshaped from a justice-centric faith into an individualistic religion—designed not to challenge oppression but to coexist with it.
The result?
We lost control over our narrative, and with it, our power.
And when a people lose control of their story, others begin to write it for them.
Whoever controls the narrative controls the outcome.
Our oppressors understood what many of us forgot—that narrative is the first battlefield of every empire.
Before we can rebuild our civilisation, we must first reclaim the pen that writes our future.
No power in the world wages war without first building a moral case for legitimacy.
Before bombs are dropped or sanctions imposed, a narrative is crafted, one that paints the oppressor as the protector, and the oppressed as the aggressor.
Every empire throughout history has relied on this illusion.
They must appear noble, moral, and civilised, even as they commit acts of barbarity.
This is why 9/11 was exploited: to manufacture consent, justify invasions, and recalibrate the global order around Western political and economic interests.
CTRL+N exists to remove that legitimacy—to strip the power structure of the moral high ground it claims to stand upon.
To tear down the cloak of benevolence and expose the system for what it truly is: the greatest oppressor on the face of the earth.
Muslims in the East will never be free from occupation, genocide, and exploitation until we globalise the struggle.
It is the role of Muslims in the West to dismantle the false legitimacy that enables oppression: to build a counter-narrative so powerful that the world can no longer accept the lies that justify our subjugation.
Only then can the power structure be forced to retreat.
Only when we reclaim the pen that writes our future will the Muslim world be free to determine its own political destiny and economic trajectory.
The Method
To reclaim that pen, we need more than awareness—we need a method.
Every vision becomes reality through three essential steps:
- Education politicises people.
Real education is about shifting the paradigm of our people. It exposes the power structures that govern the world and dismantles the colonial mindset that keeps us passive and divided. - Organisation builds movements.
Once people awaken, they must be organised. This means building platforms, institutions, and systems that connect individuals, coordinate efforts, and create the infrastructure of a united community. - Political Action reclaims power.
Change happens when people act together with purpose. Through strategic, coordinated action, we challenge injustice, influence systems, and shift power back into the hands of the Ummah.
Today, Muslims are largely stuck in the first phase: education.
We have scholars, speakers, and thinkers who inspire and educate, but few who can organise and mobilise.
The genocide in Palestine made this truth undeniable: Muslims are ready to act, but we lack the strategy, unity, and coordination to turn outrage into outcomes.
That’s where CTRL+N comes in.
We move beyond education into organisation and political action, providing the frameworks, structures, and strategies that transform awareness into impact.
The Work
CTRL+N (Control the Narrative) is a grassroots movement built to challenge the ideological and political structures that sustain Muslim oppression.
We operate through four interconnected hubs, each designed to reclaim a part of the narrative battlefield.
Research Centre
The Research Centre uncovers truths hidden beneath layers of propaganda—both from the outside world and within our inherited paradigms.
It collects evidence and data (government reports, think tank papers, historical archives, and ideological analyses) exposing how Islamophobia and Orientalist narratives operate as systemic tools of power.
At the same time, it investigates the internal intellectual legacy of colonialism, revealing how distorted theological and cultural frameworks have shaped a docile, apolitical understanding of Islam.
Its goal is to build a central knowledge base—a resource for journalists, policymakers, scholars, and activists—that equips Muslims with clarity, confidence, and intellectual ammunition to reclaim our story.
Strategy Hub
The Strategy Hub is the think tank that transforms insight into influence.
It develops framing strategies, narrative models, and policy briefs that counter external propaganda and redefines the internal narrative, providing strategic frameworks rooted in Qur’anic principles and Prophetic leadership to help Muslims think systemically, act collectively, and lead confidently.
Through training and thought leadership, the Hub empowers Muslim leaders, institutions, and movements to communicate with precision, wisdom, and moral authority—in the language of influence, not reaction.
Media Hub
The Media Hub translates truth into impact.
It transforms research and strategy into compelling stories—infographics, podcasts, films, reels, memes, and digital campaigns—that shift public discourse and reshape collective imagination.
Externally, it humanises Muslims and exposes the hypocrisy of the global power structure.
Internally, it reframes Islamic identity through a justice-centric understanding of Islam that moves Muslims from apathy to action.
The Media Hub is the frontline of narrative warfare—reclaiming our story, reshaping perception, and restoring the power of our collective voice.
Activism Hub
The Activism Hub turns awareness into coordinated power.
It mobilises communities through campaigns, petitions, alliances, and collective initiatives that challenge injustice at every level—from policy and institutions to cultural conditioning.
Externally, it builds alliances and movements that confront oppression with discipline and unity.
Internally, it nurtures a culture of courage, accountability, and prophetic activism—reminding Muslims that standing for justice is not politics, but worship.
Through its actions, the Activism Hub mobilises the Ummah as a disciplined movement—capable of shaping systems, challenging oppression, and restoring justice.
The struggle for liberation begins with reclaiming our story—and that story starts here.
CTRL + N is not an organisation; it is a movement—a network of thinkers, builders, and believers united by one purpose:
To revive the Ummah’s confidence, dismantle oppression, and restore justice through truth.
The question is no longer when will things change, but who will write the next chapter.
Join The Movement
Every movement in history began with a small group of people who refused to be silent—who understood that change does not come from waiting, but from writing the next chapter themselves.
We are those people.
And this is that chapter.
CTRL + N is a grassroots movement built to reclaim the Muslim narrative—both internally (how we see ourselves) and externally (how the world sees us).
We exist to unite thinkers, strategists, creators, and activists into one organised force capable of reshaping perception, reclaiming legitimacy, and restoring justice.
When you join CTRL+N you are joining more than an organising, you are joining a mission, one that belongs to every Muslim who believes the Ummah deserves better than silence, division, and despair.
How You Can Be Part of It
You can contribute your skills, time, or platform to any of our four hubs, each working together as part of one cohesive movement:
Research Centre: Uncover truths, analyse systems, and expose the structures of oppression that shape public perception and internal thought.
Strategy Hub: Develop framing strategies, policy briefs, and training programmes that help Muslims engage with power intelligently and effectively.
Media Hub: Tell our story. Design, write, film, and create content that reclaims the global narrative about Islam and Muslims.
Activism Hub: Mobilise communities, coordinate campaigns, and organise the collective power of the Ummah into tangible impact.
Why You Matter
Every voice, every skill, every contribution strengthens the Ummah’s collective power.
Whether you are a writer, designer, analyst, organiser, or simply someone who refuses to remain a bystander—there is a place for you here.
Because movements are not built by leaders alone. They are built by the thousands of unseen hands that choose courage over comfort, unity over ego, and truth over silence.
The Time Is Now
The world is being rewritten—and if we do not write our own story, others will continue to write it for us.
Join the movement that reclaims the pen, restores our power, and reshapes the future of the Ummah.
Join CTRL + N, where conviction becomes action, and action becomes change.
